Mom and Dad

There are no two people anywhere
Whose love we want more to share,
Whose happiness overflows its bounds
You’ve taught us how to care.

We’ve learned to love you more each day
From within the happiness we have grown,
It’s easy to love ourselves more each day
With the patience you two have shown.

We could never even repay in part
The love we possess within our heart,
But every day that we are blessed to share
We’ll try our best to start.

You are two very special human beings apart,
Together, an awesome pair.
We dream of a love for ourselves one day
In the same universe you two share.

Wherever life shall lead us now
We go with strength free from any fear,
You’ve taught us of love and happiness
And to express how much we care.
